A new report by Raunds Town Council shows that a number of residents have contacted the council to suggest that Raunds should have Wildflower Verges. A new report issued by Raunds Town Council highlights that due to the popular use of the Skate Park at Amos Lawrence field, the annual maintenance costs are around £3,000 per year. Costs are so high due to frequent vandalism which has seen the park needing to be closed on a number of occasions. However, the costs also consider that the structures are made of wood which needs regular treatment. A new report by Raunds Town Council shows that they have been successful in applying for £9,911 of funding to create a woodland walk. The walk is intended to create the woodland at the bottom of Amos Lawrence playing field. Raunds Town Council have produced a report looking at the success of the trial Saturday market and raising the question on whether it should be continued in 2020. Officers investigating an assault where two women were punched by a man in Gold Street, Northampton, are appealing for witnesses to come forward. An operation which focuses on county lines in Kettering has successfully put a drug dealer behind bars for 32 months.Jamal Robinson, 18, previously of Treetops, Northampton, was part of a county line gang operating out of Kettering. He was arrested on Friday, March 29, as part of Operation Serpent – the Force’s effort to tackle county lines in Kettering.Robinson was found in possession of a large quantity of Class A drugs and in excess of £600 cash connected to drug supply.
