I went into Waitrose this morning and foolish attempted to buy 3 tubs of Ben & Jerries Ice Cream.  I then proceeded to join the queue and after about a 30-45 minute wait the ice-cream had completely melted! Last Thursday Northants Telegraph reported that Raunds Town Council is in support of launching a pilot scheme to have citizens on Patrol in Raunds to try to reduce crime. A public meeting has been held in Irthlingborough about Street Watch, a new initiative due to be trialled in the town by police which would see residents patrol the streets to discourage low-level issues that affect the most people.
