Raunds Town Council has announced that they have installed a new defibrillator and bleed kit at Saxon Hall, Raunds today.
They hope that they will not need to be used but in the case of an emergency they are available at Saxon Hall. By calling 999, they will talk you through how to use them and it really can help save a life whilst waiting for the emergency services to arrive.
The Town Council have provided thanks to Tom Hatton, from East Northants First Responders for sourcing the Defibrillator and Lewis Chinnock and Taylor Jenson from East Northants Electrical Limited for fitting it for free.
Mayor of Raunds Cllr Sylvia Hughes said,
“A great example of the community working together. Lewis and Taylor have installed the defibrillator free of charge, East Northants First Responders coordinated the installation and do a great job maintaining and monitoring all the defibrillators around the town. Raunds Town Council funded the purchase of the defibrillator and bleed kit.”
