Raunds gets almost £10,000 of funding for Woodland Walk

A new report by Raunds Town Council shows that they have been successful in applying for £9,911 of funding to create a woodland walk.

The walk is intended to create the woodland at the bottom of Amos Lawrence playing field.

The area will include:

  • Trees x 25-30 approximately – all bearing edible fruits and nuts
  • 2 x Benches (same style as Greenway)
  • Interpretation Panels
  • Herb Plants in raised beds
  • Mud Kitchen

The funding received must be spent by 31st January 2020
