Teenager seriously assaulted in Kettering town centre

Witnesses are sought after a teenage boy was seriously assaulted in High Street, Kettering, on Sunday evening (March 31).

The assault happened at about 6pm outside McDonalds when the 16 year old was stabbed following an altercation.

The suspects are described as two black males and officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident who they have not yet spoken to, or who has any information about it, to get in touch with police.

The boy was taken to hospital for treatment and is recovering well.
