A man has been arrested following an incident in London Road, Northampton, this morning, Thursday, March 7.
Police were called to reports of a break-in at a business at 3.40am and upon arrival a man was found to be on a roof.
Road closures were put in place while the incident was dealt with. The fire and ambulance services were in attendance, with support from the NPAS helicopter.
The man was brought safely down at around 6.45am and the road reopened shortly afterwards.
A 34-year-old Northampton man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage and is currently in custody.
