Double Decker Bus Hits Pedestrian in Northampton Same Day as A Bus Hits Children in Corby

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was seriously injured following a collision in Drapery, Northampton, yesterday afternoon (Thursday, January 24).

The collision happened at about 1.15pm, near the junction with Bradshaw Street, when a double decker bus was in collision with the pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 51-year-old local man, was taken to University Hospital Coventry.

Witnesses to the collision or anyone with information are asked to contact Northamptonshire Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 or via the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174645.

It is not understood at this time if there is any link between the 2 events or if this was could have been down to cold weather factors and icy conditions
