East Northamptonshire Council have put in a planning application themselves for an Enterprise Centre on the site adjacent to KFC on Warth Park.
The proposal would provide 27,000 sq ft of managed business space with a combination of 17,500 sq ft of lettable office space as well as 9,500 sq ft of business starter units
The offices will be in a three storey building along the western boundary while the business units would be along the northern and eastern in boundaries in the form of studios and workshops
The current proposal would include a total of 114 car parking spaces including 12 disabled bays, 44 cycle spaces and 7 motorcycle spaces
If approved, it is assumed that construction would begin in 2019 with an opening in 2020 with construction taking approximately 12 months
Landscaping is included in the plans and the proposed hours of construction are currently specified as 08:00-18:00 Mon-Fri and 08:00 – 13:00 Saturday.
Once operational the site would be accessible by its tenants 24hrs with management staff onsite during normal working hours of 8:30am – 5:30pm
