For the second year running, Windmill Primary School has been shortlisted for the Primary School of the Year at the Northants Telegraph Education Awards at the end of June.
Principal Mr Matt Coleman said, “We are all thoroughly delighted to be shortlisted for this award. It is testament to the hard work and complete dedication of all staff members who each go above and beyond to offer the very best for our wonderful children.
We have an unrelenting focus on every child as an individual. Our drive to secure the best Environment, Culture and Ethos within our school and curriculum here at Windmill provides the foundation for our success.
Getting the environment right for the children to learn, flourish and be successful as individuals; promoting a culture of ambition, respect and resilience and pushing an ethos of success, celebration and overall awesomeness!
We can’t wait for the awards event at Wicksteed, where I am sure Windmill will be represented in full force. Thank you to everybody for your support.”
We are also delighted and very proud to announce that Mrs Amanda Cowley, Learning Mentor at Windmill Primary, has been shortlisted for the Unsung Hero Award.
This is a very deserving nomination as Mrs Cowley works so very hard with so many of our children. Congratulations and good luck to all!
