Woman Bit in Dangerous Dog Incident (Wellingborough)

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a woman being bitten by a dog on Croyland Road, Wellingborough.

The incident happened on Sunday, December 3, between 2.45pm and 3pm when a woman was walking along Croyland Road opposite HI-Q Tyres. On the way, she met a man walking his German Shepherd dog. The dog jumped up and bit her twice on the face and once on the right arm. The man left the area and did not give the victim his details.

The man is described as white, in his 70s, of slim build, about 5ft 9in with grey, balding hair. The German Shepherd was a brown/gold colour.
