Raunds Park Infant School Excels in PE

Raunds Park Infant School are delighted to have had their excellent work in PE recognised at the Northamptonshire Sport’s Awards 2017.

“We came runners up in the category of Primary PE Premium Impact Award.

This recognises how effectively we have used our grant funding to increase sporting opportunities for our children, both in the amount and variety of experiences offered.

Last year 90% of pupils accessed competitions. This is particularly impressive as fewer competitions run for KS1 in the county and many events are held in Northampton rather than locally. We were in fact the only Infant school nominated.

We look forward to further building on this success this year, and continuing to offer our children high quality PE and sport’s opportunities both in school and as part of our extra-curricular offerings.”
