    Depends on your age group i suppose. With young children there are plenty of clubs. when your a bit older its WI clubs not all for oldies i might add. I have taken up some exercise classes recently and most people are very friendly. Just be brave and get out there. Hope this helps.

    Do you like bingo…cons club tuesday nights….raunds….your best bet is decide on what interests you would like to follow and then we the raunds nation lol can point you in the right direction…you will be ok…have a good think..I know people who would welcome you into there friends group no problem as they to moved to raunds and knew no one. ..they met at bingo lol good luck

    Snooks do exorcize classes during some days, can meet new people their? Their is a book club run by the FourSpires Benefice? Also Raunds community church are a nice bunch to meet new people 🙂

    Thanks for your comments may try the bingo as me and exercise don’t mix to well. Can I just turn up on the night? If so what time? I’m 45 yrs old by the way. Also can I get some more details about book club. Thanks .

    There is also bingo on a Wednesday night at Raunds cricket club starts at 8pm only a small group but very friendly.

    This has been great reading as I only moved here 18 months ago, only been back full time for 6 months, thanks everyone for some good ideas x
